Job summary

LVI Associates in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join its Land Development team. The position blends technical design, project coordination, and client interaction on a diverse portfolio of site developments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in land development, PE license, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver grading, drainage, roadway, and utility designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience in land development.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D including surfaces, corridors, alignments, profiles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction plans, feasibility studies, cost estimates, drainage reports and other engineering documents.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies and consultants through entitlement and permitting.
• Develop grading plans, roadway layouts, utility plans and site development designs using Civil 3D.
• Perform design calculations for stormwater, utilities and site infrastructure improvements.
• Research local design standards, regulations and permitting requirements.
• Collaborate with designers and project teams to deliver on schedule and budget.
• Support land development projects from small commercial sites to master-planned communities.
• Assist with project management, budgeting, invoicing and contract administration.
• Participate in client meetings and project reviews.

What You'll Do
