THE COMPANY

At ROWE, our core values include safety, quality, people, service, and growth. We are seeking a Land Development Project Manager to join our proactive team of ethical, talented, passionate professionals and leaders at our Flint, MI office.

POSITION SUMMARY

ROWE is currently looking for a Land Development Project Manager to join our team. Project Managers work in a group environment on a diverse range of projects, providing creative leadership to a wide range of staff with varied experience. This position will play a big role in growing our Design Services Division team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Develop proposals and project plans.
2. Conduct research and development for projects.
3. Represent clients at public meetings.
4. Develop work scopes, budgets, and staff assignments.
5. Conduct research and development for residential subdivisions.
6. Provide master planning/site layout for residential subdivisions and land development projects.
7. Review state/local permits for land disturbance, water, and wastewater.
8. Provide quality control for the design team to ensure technical accuracy, conformance to project requirements, and overall constructability.
9. Interact with other disciplines (survey and construction).
10. Provide direction, supervision, and training to junior staff.
11. Provide direction and assistance for construction of land development projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking forward-thinking, safety-conscious, and energetic individuals who are excited to work on both small-scale and large-scale projects. Qualifications include:

1. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
2. Michigan Professional Engineer License.
3. Minimum of 15 years of civil site design experience.
4. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
5. Experience with site design, road design, hydraulic analysis, sanitary sewer design, and water main design.
6. Experience developing site plans for large- and small-scale projects.
7. Experience preparing EGLE and other permits.
8. Experience developing bid books and specifications.
9. Knowledgeable in platting requirements and subdivision design.
10. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred.
11. Ability to manage a project schedule, budget, and project.
12. Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical/judgement capabilities, and ability to work independently or on a team.
13. Ability to work remote and in person effectively.
14. Strong communication skills.
