Timmons Group seeks a Land Development Practice Leader to lead, grow, and shape our Land Development presence in the Plano, TX market. This senior role is for an entrepreneurial engineer who wants to build a practice, develop talent, and drive business growth while remaining connected to technical excellence and client delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is required or preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent licensure is preferred.
• 15+ years of civil engineering experience with a strong background in land development.
• Demonstrated success in business development, client management, and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of project accounting, budgeting, and multi-project resource management.

Aufgaben

• Lead the growth and strategic direction of the Land Development practice in the Plano, TX office.
• Develop and expand client relationships; serve as a trusted advisor to private and public sector clients.
• Drive business development efforts, including market positioning, pursuit strategy, and proposal leadership.
• Maintain ownership of project financial performance, including scope, schedule, staffing, and profitability.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to identify growth opportunities and support long-term office expansion.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and designers.
• Provide coaching and technical oversight while fostering a collaborative, accountable culture.
