Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Land Development Manager to oversee the division’s land development program, directing roadway, utilities, grading, and related activities to deliver ready-to-build sites. You’ll collaborate with construction leadership, manage budgets, and ensure permit compliance across projects.

The role requires a minimum 5 years in land development, a relevant degree, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or similar program preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development.
• Must be detail-oriented and a problem-solver able to deal with complex situations.
• Travel required - work is in the South Bay (and further south).
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Valid auto insurance coverage required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver successful and timely land development projects using schedules and budgets.
• Work with Area Construction Managers to ready-to-build home sites.
• Assist in development budgets during entitlement and value engineer design.
• Develop relationships with jurisdictions to maintain land use rights.
• Oversee field operations including erosion control, utilities, paving, and landscaping.
• Manage HOA activities, budgets, and common area improvements.
• Ensure SWPPP management and compliance.
• Review project budgets with the Director of Development.
