Job summary

Lennar in Orlando, FL is seeking a Land Development Manager to oversee the division’s land development program, directing roadways, utilities, earthwork, landscape, and permit compliance to deliver ready-to-build home sites.

You will partner with Area Construction Managers and the Director of Construction to develop budgets, coordinate with jurisdictions, manage field operations, HOA activities, and ensure projects meet schedules, quality, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of land development experience.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and data management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new projects on time using schedules, budgets, and permit compliance reports.
• Collaborate with Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction to ready home sites.
• Assist in development budgets during entitlement and value-engineer design aspects.
• Develop relationships with jurisdictions to maintain land use rights.
• Oversee permitting through construction, recording plat, and final certification.
• Manage field operations for land development including erosion control, grading, utilities, paving, landscaping.
• Oversee HOA management including quarterly meetings and budget analysis.
• Manage bond maintenance and guaranty retrieval.
• Coordinate with departments to deliver amenities and marketing windows.
• Ensure SWPPP management and compliance.
• Review project budgets with Director of Development for reconciliation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
