Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Land Intern to gain hands-on experience in land development and related functions.

You will rotate through departments, contribute to projects, and support daily operations while learning company policies, safety standards, and best practices on job sites. Ideal candidates are pursuing a four-year degree in business, construction, real estate, or related fields, with a desire to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college or university and entering junior or senior year or recently graduated.
• pursuing a degree related to the internship area (business, technology, finance, construction or real estate).
• Demonstrated interest in homebuilding and related services.
• Strong willingness to learn, initiative, and professional teamwork.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; organized and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations within the assigned department, division, or jobsite.
• Assist with department projects, research, reporting, and administrative activities.
• Learn company policies, safety requirements, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with team members across functions to understand the business.
• Participate in trainings, rotations, and other learning opportunities.
