The internship delivers hands-on experience across departments, with rotations, project work, research, and field-based activities to prepare for future opportunities within the company. Interns will learn industry terminology, systems, and company policies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand homebuilding and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college and entering junior or senior year or recently graduated.
• Pursuing a degree or coursework related to internship area (business, technology, finance, construction, real estate, HR, marketing, operations).
• Demonstrated interest in career opportunities within D.R. Horton.
• Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication with team members, customers, and partners.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations within the assigned department, division, or site.
• Assist with department projects, research, reporting, and administrative activities.
• Learn and apply departmental responsibilities and company policies.
