Qualified candidates bring 2+ years of drafting experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, effective communication, and flexibility to adapt to project needs, in a company known for employee-ownership and strong training

Qualifikationen

• High school or technical school training with CAD courses or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of extensive drafting/engineering technician experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil design site/land development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with coworkers and public agency officials.
• Limited contact with outside agencies and project team members.
• Ability to build strong relationships.
• Flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice.

Aufgaben

• Determine design criteria, drawing sequence, and presentation; size components and refine rough sketches and notes with quantities and equipment specs.
• Identify construction details.
• Set up and maintain the project’s coordinate system with Surveying Department.
• Understand typical survey components required on the plan set.
• Calculate quantities and material take-offs.
• Determine slopes and grades for pavement considering natural topography and criteria.
• Maintain and organize design project folders and documentation.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.
