Job summary

LJA Engineering, Inc. invites applications for a Graduate Engineer in Land Development. You will support design and production using AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, and Office tools to deliver feasibility studies, cost opinions, and construction exhibits for diverse clients.

You will grow through hands-on projects, collaborate with technical mentors, and contribute to a culture that values learning, ownership, and client impact across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree from ABET accredited university (Civil Engineering Preferred).
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and water resources software preferred (HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS).
• FE Exam is a plus and indicates readiness for professional licensure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experts to perform design calculations and generate technical drawings and exhibits.
• Expand engineering toolbox and apply advanced techniques and industry concepts.
• Investigate site conditions and jurisdictional criteria to inform design iterations.
• Provide information and exhibits to support client and internal decision making.
• Communicate with managers and mentors to identify growth opportunities.
