Role Description The Site Civil Design Project Manager is responsible for leading site design projects from concept through construction. This full-time role is based in York, PA, with flexibility for possible work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating civil site design, preparing plans and reports, overseeing permitting and entitlements, and managing project schedules and budgets. The role involves directing internal and external design resources, reviewing drawings and technical documents, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and client standards. The Project Manager also serves as a primary point of contact for clients, facilitating clear communication, addressing project issues, and supporting business development through strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong Project Management design skills to oversee multiple site civil projects, manage timelines, and coordinate deliverables.
• Design skills to guide site civil design, review plans and reports, and align technical work with project goals and regulatory requirements.
• Budgeting skills to develop, track, and manage project budgets and support financial performance.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, team members, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field; professional engineering licensure (PE) in PA or MD, or eligibility, is desired.
• Experience in site civil design (grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management) and land development permitting is required.
• Proficiency with civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) and familiarity with local and state regulations in Pennsylvania and Maryland is preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
