Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for a land development role in Towson, MD. You will manage projects from feasibility through entitlement and construction, coordinating with clients, municipalities, utilities, and internal engineering teams to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires hands-on design oversight for sanitary sewer, site grading, and drainage, plus mentoring junior staff and guiding engineering design workflows using Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree AND 6+ years of Civil Engineering or Land Development experience (additional YOE can be used in lieu of a degree).
• Experience managing land development projects through the entitlement and permitting process.
• Strong understanding of water and sewer design and site grading and drainage.
• Civil 3D proficiency with the ability to troubleshoot and guide others through design workflows.
• Experience reviewing and coordinating engineering plan sets.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Strong client-facing communication and project coordination skills.
• Experience working with Pennsylvania municipalities and regulatory agencies.
