Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Land Development Civil Engineer to support residential, commercial, and municipal projects in Florida. The role focuses on site design, grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and permitting, using Civil 3D and AutoCAD to develop plans and construction documents.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree and an EIT/PE license, with proven land development experience and knowledge of stormwater modeling.

Qualifications

• EIT or PE license preferred.
• Land development design experience required.
• Residential and commercial development experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design.
• Experience with ICPR or SWMM stormwater modeling preferred.
• Roadway design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering design plans, calculations, technical reports, and construction documents.
• Perform grading, drainage, stormwater, water quality, utility, and infrastructure calculations.
• Develop site plans, utility plans, drainage plans, and construction drawings for land development projects.
• Support residential, commercial, and master-planned community developments.
• Coordinate designs with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Participate in project meetings and design reviews.
• Assist with project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate permitting efforts with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Ensure designs comply with zoning requirements and municipal regulations.
• Resolve design challenges and construction conflicts in the field.
