Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Land Development Civil Engineer to support residential, commercial, and municipal infrastructure projects. The role involves designing site development components, grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and permitting using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

The ideal candidate has experience with site design for residential and commercial developments, works well with cross-functional teams, and contributes from feasibility through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT or PE license preferred.
• Prior land development design experience required.
• Experience with residential and commercial development projects.
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design.
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience required.
• GIS experience preferred.
• ICPR or SWMM stormwater modeling preferred.
• Roadway design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering design plans, calculations, technical reports, and construction documents.
• Perform grading, drainage, stormwater, water quality, utility, and infrastructure calculations.
• Develop site plans, utility plans, drainage plans, and construction drawings for land development projects.
• Support residential, commercial, and master-planned community developments.
• Coordinate designs with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Participate in project meetings and design reviews.
• Assist with project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate permitting efforts with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Ensure designs comply with zoning requirements and municipal regulations.
• Resolve design challenges and construction conflicts in the field.
