Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking an experienced engineer to design residential, commercial, and industrial sites. You will create site plans with AutoCAD Civil 3D, perform grading analyses, and contribute to permitting and construction document production.

You will collaborate with multiple disciplines, support project managers, and engage with clients. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years of experience are required, with flexibility for occasional evening meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering design or similar role is required.
• Fluent in English and valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Design site plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare conceptual grading analyses and site layout.
• Prepare and compute due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer opinions of probable costs, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm water reports, earthwork analysis.
• Assist in production of final construction drawings.
• Prepare permit applications for applicable municipal agencies.
• Assist project managers and communicate with clients on specific projects.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on multi‑discipline projects.
• Attend client and public meetings; may involve days or evenings.
• Support business development efforts as needed.
