Job summary

Atwell, LLC in Chicago is seeking a civil/site design engineer to collaborate on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will design site plans, manage utility and stormwater aspects, and prepare grading analyses and permit documents.

The role involves producing final construction drawings, assisting with client communications, and working with a multi-disciplinary team. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years’ experience are required; AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 3+ years of experience in a relevant engineering role.
• Fluent in English; able to work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare conceptual grading analyses and site layouts.
• Compute due diligence reports, cost opinions, utility/detention/stormwater analyses.
• Assist in producing final construction drawings and permit applications.
• Support project managers and maintain client communication.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams; attend client/public meetings.
