HeyTutor is hiring English and Math tutors to provide in-person tutoring for elementary and middle school students in Lancaster, CA. The role requires an AA degree or current college enrollment, with preference for those who have experience with children and tutoring.

Tutors work Monday to Friday, 12:00pm–5:30pm, and must pass an FBI-DOJ in-person background check. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualificações

• Experience working with children or tutoring preferred.
• Comfortable tutoring Elementary and Middle School Math and ELA.
• Ability to manage large groups of students independently.
• Pass FBI-DOJ in-person background check (provided by HeyTutor).

Responsabilidades

• Tutor large groups of students up to 15 without direct teacher supervision.
• Deliver lessons using provided curriculum and materials.
• Create an engaging, welcoming learning environment.
• Support positive student behavior and participation.
• Track attendance and student progress using the HeyTutor Dashboard.
• Assist with student assessments when requested.
• Escort students to and from designated areas on campus.
• Clock in/out daily using Deputy.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

About the Role

HeyTutor has partnered with a local school district in Lancaster to provide high-impact, in-person tutoring to Elementary and Middle School students. Applicants must have completed an Associate’s degree or higher, or be currently enrolled in college.

We are hiring English & Math Tutors to support students in grades k-8th. This is a great opportunity for college students, aspiring educators, and education professionals looking for consistent hours, competitive pay, and meaningful work in their community.

Pay & Benefits

Requirements
