HeyTutor has partnered with a Lancaster area school district to provide in-person tutoring for elementary and middle school students in English and Math. Applicants must have an Associate’s degree or be currently enrolled in college, and must pass an FBI-DOJ background check.

The role is weekday, with hours from 12:00pm to 5:30pm, paying $20–$26 per hour. Benefits include attendance-based pay incentives, voluntary health benefits, and a 401(k).

Competenze

• Completed AA degree or higher, OR currently enrolled in college (required).
• Experience working with children or tutoring preferred.
• Comfortable tutoring Elementary and Middle School Math and English Language Arts (ELA).
• Ability to pass an FBI-DOJ in-person background check (provided by HeyTutor).
• Spanish bilingual is preferred not required.

Mansioni

• Tutor large groups of students up to 15 without direct teacher supervision.
• Deliver lessons using provided curriculum and materials.
• Create an engaging, welcoming learning environment.
• Support positive student behavior and participation.
• Track attendance and student progress using the HeyTutor Dashboard.
• Assist with student assessments when requested.
• Escort students to and from designated areas on campus.
• Clock in/out daily using Deputy.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

About the Role

HeyTutor has partnered with a local school district in Lancaster to provide high-impact, in-person tutoring to Elementary and Middle School students. Applicants must have completed an Associate’s degree or higher, or be currently enrolled in college.

We are hiring English & Math Tutors to support students in grades k-8th. This is a great opportunity for college students, aspiring educators, and education professionals looking for consistent hours, competitive pay, and meaningful work in their community.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday availability required
  
• Must be available between 12:00pm-5:30pm

Requirements

• Completed AA degree or higher, OR currently enrolled in college (required)

• Comfortable working in a classroom setting
