Job summary

Four Seasons Lanai seeks a Lana’i Cultural Advisor to share passion for excellence and educate guests on the island’s culture. You will lead workshops in hula, oli, ukulele, weaving, and olelo Hawaiʻi while delivering warm, personal service and preserving guest confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Legal work authorization in the United States.
• Availability to work seven days a week, 24 hours a day, including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts.
• Experience in hula, oli, ukulele, lauhala and lau nui weaving, hula implements, ohe kapala, and olelo Hawaiʻi.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate cultural workshops (e.g., hula, ʻoli, ukulele, weaving, ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi).
• Create an engaging and authentic guest experience by explaining the cultural significance of each activity and fostering a welcoming atmosphere of aloha.
• Deliver warm, professional, and personalized service while maintaining guest confidentiality and upholding hospitality standards.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Lāna‘i’s culture, history, and significant sites to enhance guest education and experiences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and ensure all materials and areas are prepared for daily activities.
