Job summary

Bay Insulation Systems in Sumner, WA, is seeking a General Laborer to support the production of metal building insulation. You will safely load fiberglass insulation and facing materials into laminators, start and wrap finished laminated products, and assist with packaging and shipping preparations.

The role requires practical experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Familiarity with fiberglass insulation or metal building insulation manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport raw materials (fiberglass insulation and facing) and finished laminates to maintain continuous production.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Prepare and package shipments according to customer and carrier requirements.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, follow safety procedures, and support with changeovers as needed.
• Assist machine operators in the safe and efficient operation of laminators.
