Job summary

Dragonfly Pond Works in San Marcos, Texas is seeking a Lake & Pond Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance of lakes, ponds, and fountains. The role includes loading and preparing the truck, conducting water analyses, and vegetation control, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The position offers full-time hours at $18 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities within an environmental services company focused on stormwater management.

Qualifications

• Able to multitask and communicate effectively.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in lake, pond, or pool management preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Aquatic field, mechanical, and electrical maintenance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load, clean, and prepare the truck for each day.
• Clean and maintain lakes, ponds, and fountains.
• Perform aquatic vegetation control.
• Conduct water analyses and monitor quality.
• Remove trash from client locations.
• Help maintain a clean shop facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $18 per hour- Full-time

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Load/Clean/Prepare the truck for each day
• Clean and maintain lakes, ponds, & fountains
• Aquatic vegetation control
• Perform water analysis
• Trash removal from client locations
• Help maintain a clean shop facility
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Experience:

• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Experience in lake, pond, or pool management preferred
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Aquatic field, mechanical, and electrical maintenance is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Albe to work in and around water, at times using a boat
• Lift/Carry 50 lbs or more multiple times throughout the day
• Physically able to perform all aspects of cleaning, checking, and monitoring lakes and ponds
