Job summary

Resolute Health Hospital is expanding its lactation and nursing education team. The RN will provide breast-feeding education and consultation to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, and mentor instructors delivering this education.

The role emphasizes staff development, program oversight, and ensuring compliance with national standards for patient education in lactation support.

Qualifications

• Must be a Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Active Texas RN license required.
• BLS provider certification required; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide breast-feeding education and consultation to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide staff development guidance for instructors of breast-feeding education.
• Monitor, evaluate and revise breast-feeding education programs to meet national standards.
• Mentor and evaluate instructors delivering breast-feeding education.
