Memorial Hospital at Gulfport is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to an assigned patient population and to lead coordination of care with an interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes in Gulfport, MS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited, state-approved school of nursing.
• Current MS RN license or temporary permit (valid for 90 days) or Compact License; IBCLC certification required or must obtain after 1000 hours in lactation.
• One-year clinical experience in a hospital as an RN with breastfeeding education.
• Two years in lactation assistance (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to an assigned patient population.
• Provides nursing leadership for coordination of care with interdisciplinary team members to facilitate the patient along the continuum.
• Interprets physicians' orders and uses equipment and instruments used in patient care.
