Qualifications

• 0-2 years of direct experience as a lactation consultant.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience in maternal-child health, obstetrics, or pediatrics preferred.
• RN licensure and IBCLC certification required.
• BCLS, NRP, and NALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides specialized lactation care and clinical management for breastfeeding/chest-feeding dyads and pumping parents.
• Assesses patient and infant needs and creates individualized lactation care plans.
• Teaches proper positioning, latch techniques, breast care, and pumping strategies.
