Qualifications

• Per license training requirements (NRP within 6 months).
• IBCLC certification within 2 years of hire.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide lactation consultation and support to NICU and obstetric patients.
• Educate mothers and families on breastfeeding techniques and care.
• Collaborate with NICU/WBN staff to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Document assessments, care plans, and outcomes to reflect high-quality nursing.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and quality improvement activities.
