Collier County Public Schools in Naples, FL is seeking athletic coaches for supplemental Lacrosse, HC/GI positions. Applicants must meet age and education requirements and have a current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification.

A high school diploma or GED is required, plus one reference letter if you are not a CCPS employee. Basic Life Support (First Aid, CPR and AED) is required, and information about certification pathways is available on the district site.

The Florida Department of Education issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates:

1. 3-Year Temporary Certificate (Issued ONLY to give a coach the opportunity to complete the requirements for the 5-Year Certificate. It is NOT renewable.)
2. 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate

WHO NEEDS IT?

• Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.
• Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools, but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator's Certification.
