Collier County Public Schools is seeking two assistant coaches for the Spring girls lacrosse season. Applicants must submit a completed online application with required documents, be at least 21 years old, and hold the appropriate Florida educator or athletic coaching certification.

A Basic Life Support certification is also required. Coaches who hold teaching certification may not need separate athletic coaching certification.

Competenze

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED (minimum).
• 1 Reference Letter (not for CCPS staff).
• Current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification required (teaching cert holders exempt).
• Basic Life Support (First Aid, CPR, AED).

The Florida Department of Education issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates:

• 3-Year Temporary Certificate (Issued ONLY to give a coach the opportunity to complete the requirements for the 5-Year Certificate. It is NOT renewable.)
• 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate

WHO NEEDS IT?

• Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.
• Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools, but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator’s Certification.
