Job summary

Collier County Public Schools is seeking applicants for the Head Coach/Girls Supplemental position. Candidates must meet Florida coaching certification requirements and hold the appropriate educator credentials, or a dedicated athletic coaching certificate.

Applicants must be at least 21, have a high school diploma or GED, supply one reference letter, and maintain current Basic Life Support (First Aid, CPR and AED). Posting current as of 10/25/2026 CST.

The Florida Department of Education issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates:

• 1. 3-Year Temporary Certificate (Issued ONLY to give a coach the opportunity to complete the requirements for the 5-Year Certificate. It is NOT renewable.)
• 2. 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate

WHO NEEDS IT?

• Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.
• Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools, but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator’s Certification.
