Collier County Public Schools is seeking a dedicated MS soccer head coach to lead middle school team during the school year. This supplemental, part-time role requires certification and a commitment to athlete development and safety.

Applicants must meet age and certification requirements, complete online application, and provide documentation. Coaches with Florida educator or athletic coaching certification will be prioritized; First Aid/ CPR/ AED knowledge is required.

Special Notes

• Applicants are required to have a completed online application with the required uploaded documents.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement).
• 1 Reference Letter (this does not apply to current CCPS staff).
• Current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification is required. NOTE: Coaches who hold current teaching certification do not need to obtain athletic coaching certification.
• Basic Life Support Program (First Aid, CPR and AED).

The Florida Department of Education issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates:

1. 3-Year Temporary Certificate (Issued ONLY to give a coach the opportunity to complete the requirements for the 5-Year Certificate. It is NOT renewable.)
2. 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate

WHO NEEDS IT?

• Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.
• Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools, but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator’s Certification.
