IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida seeks an Assistant Coach, Lacrosse to support the Head Coach in athlete development, team operations, practice planning, and game preparation, fostering a positive, growth-oriented environment aligned with academic success and competitive excellence.

You will lead practices, develop technical and tactical lacrosse skills, assist with scouting, film review, recruitment, and travel coordination, while mentoring student-athletes and collaborating with leadership to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in PE, sports management, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience coaching lacrosse at collegiate, club, academy, national, or professional level.
Strong knowledge of lacrosse fundamentals, systems, and game strategy.
Ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, and staff.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct high-quality lacrosse practices and development sessions.
Develop student-athletes' lacrosse skills, conditioning, and mental performance.
Teach offensive and defensive systems and game strategies.
Assist with game preparation, scouting, film review, and opponent analysis.
Support recruitment and college placement of student-athletes.
Monitor academic progress and wellbeing.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Travel with teams to competitions and camps.
