Job summary

IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL seeks an Assistant Volleyball Coach to support the Head Coach in athlete development, training implementation, and tournament preparation. You will collaborate on coaching plans, analyze performance, and mentor student-athletes to foster growth on and off the court.

Responsibilities include practice planning, game strategy, coordination with families and college coaches, and assisting in campus life and academics alignment. Travel to events is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical education, sports management, business administration or a similar field.
• Experience playing, coaching or managing at a collegiate, club or professional level.
• High standard of proficiency in training and coaching techniques.
• Strong commitment to student athletes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, and conducting high-quality volleyball practices and training sessions.
• Support athletes' technical, tactical, physical, and mental development.
• Provide instruction in serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking and game strategy.
• Guide student-athletes through tournament preparation and match-day operations.
• Assist with inventory and facility setup; travel to tournaments and events.
