Job summary

Collier County Public Schools in Naples, FL seeks an Assistant Coach for Baseball as a supplemental position. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a High School Diploma or GED, and have a Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification.

The Florida Department of Education issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates:

1. 3-Year Temporary Certificate (Issued ONLY to give a coach the opportunity to complete the requirements for the 5-Year Certificate. It is NOT renewable.)


2. 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate

WHO NEEDS IT?

• Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.


• Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools, but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator’s Certification.
