Crisdel Group, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Construction Laborer to join our expanding Pipe Crew. Pipe laborers are responsible for performing various tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. These tasks may include, but are not limited to: shoveling, raking, hand sweeping, setting bracing, forming, rigging, tying, cutting, patching, and cleaning. Heavy construction laborers may use and/or operate tools such as small hand or power tools, air tools, jackhammers, cement mixers, hand tampers, plate tampers, and saws.
All employees shall contribute to Crisdel's team effort by ensuring the safe and successful completion of their assigned work. Specifically, individuals are expected to:
This position requires sitting, standing, walking, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, bending, trunk movements, lifting at least 45 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, hand and finger dexterity, vision (including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception), hearing, and speaking.
Work is primarily outdoors on construction sites or roadway projects, exposing workers to noise, heat, and varying weather conditions. Work hours may include day, night, or weekend shifts depending on project schedules.
