Jr. Davis Construction Company / S&L Materials Inc. is seeking a motivated individual with a strong work ethic for the position of Asphalt Plant Laborer. This role involves labor jobs, moving equipment, and assisting with plant operations. We are a large heavy highway and civil construction firm with over 900 employees, maintaining a family business atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Operate water truck and skid steer/m lift
• Clean yard and assist with maintenance
• Grease and adjust plant equipment
• Unload AC tankers and collect samples
• Perform general upkeep and minor repairs
• Follow safety procedures and standards
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Active Driver's license
• Safety-first attitude and adherence to safety protocols
• Professional and courteous demeanor
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as needed

Skills and Physical Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more), and perform strenuous physical labor
