Job summary

ADB Companies, LLC is seeking a Laborer II to provide outside plant installation support on utility construction sites nationwide. The role requires operating equipment such as drill, mini excavator, hydro truck, and bucket truck with safety as a priority.

The candidate should have 1+ year of utility construction experience, 6+ months of equipment operation, and a valid driver’s license; Class A CDL is strongly preferred. Commitment to safety and learning is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of utility construction experience.
• OSHA 10 and Competent Person certifications strongly preferred (ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Performs general manual labor in all weather conditions, including digging, installing utilities, moving materials, and traffic control.
• Supports crew with jobsite setup and closeout tasks like loading/unloading trucks, taking photos, and setting up cones/traffic signs.
• Operates one or more heavy equipment types (directional drill, mini excavator, hydro truck, bucket truck) with limited guidance.
• Meets production expectations set by Foreman/management.
• Participates in safety training and adheres to safety culture and procedures.
• Reads prints and construction drawings; basic locate of utilities under supervision.
