Job summary

ADB Companies, LLC is hiring a Laborer II in the El Paso, TX area. This non-exempt role supports utility construction projects with manual labor, equipment operation, and safety compliance.

The position requires reading prints and adhering to ADB’s safety procedures while traveling nationwide. The ideal candidate has 1+ year in utility construction and 6+ months operating drills, hydro trucks, or bucket trucks; CDL and OSHA-10 are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of utility construction experience required.
• 6+ months of equipment operating experience with Drill, Hydro, Mini, or Bucket Truck required.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to drive a company vehicle preferred.
• CDL Class A license strongly preferred.
• Competent Person and OSHA 10 certifications strongly preferred (within 6 months of hire).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general manual labor in all weather conditions (hand digging, moving material, inspecting ground conditions).
• Supports crew with jobsite setup and closeout tasks (loading/unloading, pictures, traffic cones/signs).
• Operates heavy equipment (directional drill, mini excavator, hydro truck, bucket truck) with guidance.
• Meets production expectations set by Foreman or management.
• Learns installations and equipment operations with experienced Operators.
• Reads construction drawings and locates utilities under supervision.
• Participates in safety culture and pre-task/safety assessments.
• Trains entry level laborers on safety and procedures.
