Job summary

ADB Companies, LLC is seeking a Laborer to support outside plant (OSP) installation on various sized utility construction sites. This entry-level role emphasizes safety, reliability, and a strong work ethic with nationwide travel.

The position involves manual labor, basic equipment operation under guidance, reading simple prints, and assisting with site setup, traffic control, and maintaining clean work areas. CDL/safety credentials are preferred but not required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred; willing to train.
• Vaid driver’s license with the ability to drive a company vehicle strongly preferred.
• Class A CDL License strongly preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general manual labor including hand digging, installing utilities, moving material, and inspecting ground conditions.
• Supports crew with jobsite setup and closeout tasks such as loading/unloading trucks and traffic control.
• Operates basic equipment under guidance, like directional drill and mini excavator.
• Meets production expectations set by senior workers and management.
• Participates in training with experienced Laborers and Operators on installations and readings.
• Reads prints and construction drawings at a basic level.
• Understands safety risks in a safety-sensitive position.
• Maintains cleanliness and quality of company/customer property.
• Follows safety culture and participates in pre-task and safety assessments.
• Performs other duties when requested.
