Job summary

Bally’s Marquette in Iowa is seeking a maintenance professional responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts under supervision. The role requires basic knowledge of HVAC, alarm systems, and generators, and performing routine maintenance with instructions from supervisory personnel.

You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, and possess strong guest service skills. Bally’s Marquette is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Two years of maintenance experience is preferred.
• Excellent guest service skills and professional demeanor required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, alarm systems and generators.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and replace gaming table layouts under supervision.
• Perform preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Handle guest complaints discreetly and maintain guest relationships.

Job description

• Responsible for performing maintenance with guidance from supervisor.
• Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts with instructions provided by a supervisor.
• Basic knowledge of the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators. Perform routine maintenance on the systems with instructions from supervisory personnel.
• Follow outline of preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by a member of management.
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel – seek to resolve all situations in a manner the maintains positive guest relationships.
• Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with guests and team members in the Company.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Two years of maintenance experience is preferred.
• Must possess excellent guest service skills to effectively deal with guests.
• A casino environment exposed to bright flashing lights, noise, smoke and varied temperatures.
• Use of elevator and stairs.
• Food venue environments with varied noise levels, variable temperatures, wet areas, and smoke.
• A kitchen environment with a variety of workstations and storage areas, exposed to varied temperatures, smoke, steam, noise, and wet areas.
• May occasionally be in an outdoor environment, exposed to varied weather conditions.

Target Salary Range:

• $15 per hour based on experience
