Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a maintenance worker for a prominent client in the building automation and industrial technology sector. The role involves maintenance, equipment operation, and general labor on paving sites, with safety as a top priority.

You will assist foremen, ensure equipment runs smoothly, and maintain effective communication with supervisors and crew on site. Strong safety record and basic mechanical knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and construction knowledge required.
• Proven safety record and safe work practices.
• Spanish/English bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, equipment operation, and general labor tasks.
• Ensure paving housekeeping is maintained and equipment runs properly.
• Assist foremen and follow instructions on site.
• Safely operate equipment and perform mechanic tasks as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors, drivers, crew, and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Prior work experience preferred working in or around heavy equipment, construction or asphalt
• Basic mechanical and construction knowledge and skills
• Proven safety record
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
