Job summary

EPIC Health in Warren, MI is seeking a Laboratory Technician/Technologist to perform laboratory testing, specimen processing, and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced clinic setting. You will ensure accuracy, follow SOPs, and support quality assurance under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager.

This is a full-time, on-site role within the Diagnostics department. The ideal candidate will have a laboratory science background, be proficient with EHR/LIS systems, and demonstrate strong

Qualifications

• Requires education/experience in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology.
• Knowledge of specimen processing, testing procedures, and QC practices.
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment and follow testing protocols.
• Strong documentation practices and attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate EHR/LIS systems and related software.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in core chemistry, hematology, and/or PCR as trained.
• Process specimens according to SOPs and document results within turnaround times.
• Maintain and troubleshoot analyzers and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Follow regulatory requirements and maintain quality control records.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient daily operations.
