Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing in Lafayette, CO is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to perform routine analytical testing on incoming samples, ensure data accuracy and maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards. You will input results into the eLIMS system, monitor turnaround times, contribute to safety and quality programs, and support overtime or weekend scheduling as needed.

Qualifications include a HS diploma and 0-2 years in microbiology, chemistry or related field; AS/BS preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• AS or BS Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field ideal.
• Minimum 0-2+ years of experience in plating, plate reading, and sample preparation.
• Experience with aseptic technique and LIMS ideal.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing on incoming samples with accuracy and timeliness.
• Enter sample data into the eLIMS system promptly.
• Verify results and report to appropriate personnel.
• Identify process issues and propose solutions to supervisor.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and comply with regulatory requirements.
