Job summary

The Laboratory Technician I at Eurofins Scientific in Lafayette, CO will support the processing and analysis of samples in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

You will follow quality systems, maintain accurate records, and assist with data entry into the LIMS while ensuring timely and compliant test results.

The role requires US work authorization and a willingness to work overtime, with benefits including medical coverage and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• AS or BS degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related field.
• Minimum 0-2+ years of plating, plate reading, and sample prep experience.
• Experience with aseptic technique and LIMS is preferred.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Registering incoming samples and maintaining records for quality control.
• Enter sample data into the eLIMS system accurately and timely.
• Complete laboratory testing on incoming samples and ensure turnaround goals.
• Verify results and report to appropriate personnel.
• Identify non-conformances and report to supervisor with proposed solutions.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and collaborate with coworkers.
