Terracon in Dallas seeks an entry-level field/lab technician to perform testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel at construction sites. You will collect samples, observe tests, document results, and communicate with the project team for timely submittals.

Under supervision, you’ll maintain equipment, follow safety standards, and assist with scheduling. ACI certification within 90 days and Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months are preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience required.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Successful completion of related internal safety certifications.
• Obtain Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assist on basic testing and observations under supervision.
• Provides clear documentation of findings and results.
• Communicates information to Project Manager and discusses accuracy of data in preparation for submittal.
• Submits documentation and communicates results as directed by the Project Manager.
• Will be placed in a progressively increased role of training and responsibility in work assignments.
• Maintains assigned equipment.
• Follow safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects.
• Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
