Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field/lab technician to perform testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials on projects. You will collect samples, document results, and assist with data reporting to the Project Manager.

Under supervision, you will maintain equipment, assist with scheduling, and adhere to safety standards on job sites. A high school diploma and 6 months of experience are required; ACI certification within 90 days and Nuclear Density Gauge within 6 months are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience required.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Transport samples to the laboratory with documentation for testing and analysis.
• Prepare and submit data and observations in reports to the Project Manager.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles and work areas.
• Assist with scheduling and dispatch of Technicians to project sites.
• Follow strict safety standards.
