We operate GLP/GCLP-compliant lab facilities in Germany and Frederick, MD, with ongoing investments in infrastructure to meet the demand for high-quality histopathology services. Our team includes board-certified Veterinary Pathologists and highly qualified Laboratory Technicians committed to quality, scientific integrity, and client satisfaction.

Position: Full-Time Laboratory Technician

Location: Frederick, Maryland

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Perform tissue grossing, processing, embedding, microtomy, staining (H&E & special staining), quality control, and general histology duties (training provided).
2. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety and chemical regulations outlined in StageBio’s SOPs.
3. Accurately record data promptly.
4. Clean work areas and equipment daily.
5. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Willingness and ability to learn multiple tasks within histology.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of FDA regulations, Good Laboratory Practices, and StageBio’s SOPs.
• Attention to detail in routine lab tasks and documentation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• High school diploma required.
• College degree or 3 years of experience in histology/pathology laboratory preferred.
