Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor for Core Lab evenings. You will supervise assigned staff, ensure testing quality, and maintain instrumentation and procedures to meet accrediting standards.

The role requires MLS/MT/MLT (ASCP) or eligible and a minimum of two years clinical laboratory experience plus supervisory experience preferred; you will help schedule staff and support a network-wide quality management program.

Qualifications

• MLS/MT/MLT (ASCP) or eligible required.
• Minimum of two years clinical laboratory experience.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the assigned staff and manages training, orientation and competence.
• Ensures all policies and procedures meet network and accrediting agency requirements.
• Oversees maintenance of instrumentation and resources for troubleshooting.
• Ensures testing quality conforms to policy and accrediting standards.
• Assists in daily work scheduling to ensure adequate staffing.
• Maintains quality management processes with Laboratory Quality Manager.
• Keeps current technical and scientific knowledge.
