Foresight Diagnostics, a Natera company, is seeking a Laboratory Systems Scientist to support laboratory operations infrastructure and ensure compliant, scalable testing workflows in Colorado. This full‑time role is On‑Site in Boulder, CO, with flexibility for diverse schedules.

You will collaborate with research, development, clinical, bioinformatics, software, operations, regulatory, and quality teams to develop PQ, validation, and verification plans and to execute them while protecting

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant lab work experience or 2+ years with MS/PhD.
• 2+ years in CAP, CLIA, NYSDOH, ISO 13485/15189 environments.
• Experience with complex molecular biology workflows, ideally NGS.
• Designing/performing validations and verifications; process development.
• Experience with agile‑scrum and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with batch records, LIMS, FreezerPro, and other lab software.
• Experience in problem solving and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a technical SME for lab non‑product software and automation.
• Collaborate with PM and lab leadership to capture user needs for software and automation.
• Develop PQ, validation, and verification plans and execute to protect capacity and compliance.
• Draft reports for PQ/validation activities.
• Identify issues affecting equipment, automation, or test performance.
• Support automation development and knowledge transfer for PQ/validation.
• Propose operational improvements and present to leadership.
• Create and maintain SOPs, process maps, and training materials.
• Maintain wet lab proficiency to bench when needed.
