Job summary

Foresight Diagnostics in Boulder, CO is seeking a Laboratory Systems Scientist to advance laboratory operations infrastructure as a technical SME. You will develop, validate, and implement software and automation to support molecular diagnostics workflows, including NGS, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine user requirements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant laboratory experience or 2+ years with MS/PhD.
• Experience with molecular biology workflows, particularly NGS.
• Familiarity with validation processes and laboratory software.
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and validate laboratory software and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine user requirements.
• Design validation plans, execute testing, analyze data, and author SOPs.
• Create training materials to maintain high laboratory performance.
• Support automation development, process improvements, and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain wet lab proficiency when necessary.
