Job summary

Foresight Diagnostics, now part of Natera, is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II in Boulder, CO, to perform end-to-end processing for NGS-based cancer detection workflows. You will lead pre-analytical and analytical activities, ensuring high-quality results while participating in process improvements.

The ideal candidate holds a CLS license, ASCP certification, and a strong foundation in PCR/qPCR, DNA extraction, and related molecular techniques.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
Education from outside the United States requires a credentials equivalency evaluation by an approved agency.
Hold a current ASCP board certification.
Hold active Clinical Laboratory Scientist licensure (Generalist or CGMBS).
Demonstrate working knowledge of DNA biology and molecular biology techniques.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and complex diagnostic laboratory testing on patient samples for clinical, biopharma, and academic partnerships.
Provide technical guidance to non-licensed personnel for pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical activities.
Interpret data according to procedures and guidelines and ensure quality results.
Support operations with data entry, sample reception, reagent prep, and documentation.
