Job summary

Foresight Diagnostics, now part of Natera, is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II in Boulder, CO, to perform end-to-end processing for NGS-based cancer detection workflows. You will lead pre-analytical and analytical activities, ensuring high-quality results while participating in process improvements.

The ideal candidate holds a CLS license, ASCP certification, and a strong foundation in PCR/qPCR, DNA extraction, and related molecular techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• Education from outside the United States requires a credentials equivalency evaluation by an approved agency.
• Hold a current ASCP board certification.
• Hold active Clinical Laboratory Scientist licensure (Generalist or CGMBS).
• Demonstrate working knowledge of DNA biology and molecular biology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex diagnostic laboratory testing on patient samples for clinical, biopharma, and academic partnerships.
• Provide technical guidance to non-licensed personnel for pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical activities.
• Interpret data according to procedures and guidelines and ensure quality results.
• Support operations with data entry, sample reception, reagent prep, and documentation.
