Job summary

Foresight Diagnostics, a Natera company, is seeking a Laboratory Systems Scientist in Boulder, CO to support laboratory operations infrastructure as a technical SME. The role requires collaboration across research, development, clinical, bioinformatics, software, operations, regulatory, and quality teams.

You will develop PQ/validation plans, ensure compliance with CAP/CLIA/NYSDOH, and maintain equipment and SOPs while enabling scalable, high-quality clinical testing in a startup-like

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant laboratory work experience, or 2+ years with MS/PhD.
• 2+ years in CAP, CLIA, NYSDOH, ISO 13485/15189 environments.
• Experience with complex molecular biology workflows and NGS.
• Experience designing validations and verifications and process development.
• Experience with agile-scrum and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with lab batch records and LIMS/lab software.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a technical SME for lab software and automation solutions.
• Collaborate to refine user needs for software and automation.
• Develop PQ, validation, and verification plans and execute them.
• Draft reports for PQ/validation activities.
• Identify and resolve equipment/automation/test performance issues.
• Support automation development and knowledge transfer to operations.
• Propose process improvements and collaborate to implement them.
• Develop internal equipment maintenance programs for lab systems.
• Create SOPs and training materials for lab systems.
