Job summary

Jefferson Health in Stratford, NJ is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily operations and supervise medical technologists and technicians in core and specialty areas. You will ensure accurate testing, maintain QC programs, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to support patient care.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Medical Technology (Bachelor’s preferred), 7+ years in a medical lab, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in medical technology or related field required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of medical laboratory experience with supervisory experience.
• CP-BC certification and/or board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily lab operations and supervises technical staff.
• Trains employees and provides performance feedback.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and budget guidance.
• Assists in budgeting and cost control.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other staff.
• Maintains quality control and performance improvement programs.
